Creating a space where people feel welcome, comfortable, and where healing begins and feels possible
Hi, I’m Christi!
I am a Craniosacral Therapist trained in the Dynamic Body Balancing technique, a 100 hour course designed by Dr. Carol Phillips.
I discovered Caniosacral Therapy after my second child was born and struggled with nursing and torticollis. I was led to get trained in Craniosacral Therapy 9 years later after searching for a practitioner to help with additional health struggles and finding no one close to us. I am passionate about helping people find relief from their symptoms.
As a registered nurse of over 20 years, and certified in pediatrics, I have always been fascinated by how the body works. My passion lies where the traditional medical model and natural, integrative methods meet—finding a balance between the two.
Fascia seems to be the missing piece in so many cases.
Throughout my career, I have worked extensively with individuals with disabilities and complex conditions. I’m comfortable caring for patients who may seem intimidating or overwhelming to others—the complex, the unusual, the rare. Part of this comfort comes from my experience and continuing education—I’m always learning and expanding my skill set to better serve you and your families.
When I am not working, I love spending time with my husband and three children, playing, going on hikes and traveling.
My vision is to help people heal at a deep level. I would love for people to not need me, to find relief, and to be able to heal.
Happy & Healing
My practice is rooted in family-centered care. While I love serving children or individuals, I see such benefit when a whole family or even a 1-2 family members are under care. I have structured my practice in a way to support this.
I seek to meet the client where they are at while respecting what their body is telling me. This means we go at a pace that is comfortable to you and tailor the appointment around your specific concerns and needs. This can be done through a variety of methods including discussion, muscle testing and you communicating what you are feeling during the session.
I also believe that our bodies should not be in pain. The goal is to actually be physically, mentally and emotionally comfortable in your body. This can happen by releasing the tensions both physical and emotional that are stored in the fascia.
